New Year’s Playlist

We entered 2024 on a high; motivated and inspired to do our best this year to be the best version of ourselves. We wanted to kickstart our year (because this year is our year) our way and what is more ‘our way’ than giving you a playlist. Was 2023 perfect? Far from it but we move and grow, keeping whatever helps us do better or feel better in ourselves and sweeping away the things that don’t. We chose these songs as a reminder of the lessons we’ve learned or been taught (whether we wanted to learn or not) in 2023. Split into ten songs each from both of us; these are the things we plan to keep (or not) as we head into the new year. So, for the first time this year, we hope you enjoy it. Peace. Love x

OMG: Initiate Clean Slate Protocol

A Thousand Miles – Vanessa Carlton (For the fun and silliness cause we both went straight to the White Chicks moment)

Mastermind – Taylor Swift (“Checkmate WE couldn’t lose”)

If You Leave Me/ Everybody Wants to Rule the World (Live From Electric Picnic) – Niall Horan (a blend of both of us)

9 Lessons – Moncrieff (Don’t take life for granted)

Something Good Can Work – Two Door Cinema Club (The title says it all really)

Last Call – Will Linley (live in moment)

That Don’t Impress Me Much – Shania Twain (We are allowed to be picky!)

Does Your Mother Know – Mamma Mia! The Movie Soundtrack (Inside jokes on real life events is a thing)

Long Way Home – 5 Seconds of Summer (Sometimes taking the long way is the best way to go. You see so much…)

Cha Cha Cha – Kaarija (The biggest theft of 2023)

Steal the Show – Lauv (Everyone deserves a Wade)

Lost the Breakup – Maisie Peters (Some people may be left in 2023 (buh bye))

Riptide – Vance Joy (Because we’re entering our Greek mythology era (let’s be real some of us never left))

Little Bit Louder – Mimi Webb (Not to be afraid to speak up)

Once Upon A Dream – Lana Del Rey (Because even the sweet things can be creepy)

Before I Fall Apart – Elle Coves (Leave after giving one final chance. This allows putting my needs and feelings first without feeling guilty)

What A Love – The Coronas (Live at The Olympia) (For the memories, the confetti and the thrill of it all.)

Courageous – Roisin O (Life can be a scary place but all you need to be is courageous)

Better Days – Dermot Kennedy (Because at the worst times the best is yet to come even if it feels like you’ve been waiting for forever)

Rewrite the Stars – The Piano Guys (The best is still left to be written)
