November 2022 Monthly Round Up

Another month is just over and can you believe we have already survived through 11 months of the year? November saw work turn hectic again, reunions with good friends and our favourite wall that we like to hide by and; two unforgettable concerts for good measure. Before we get lost in the present buying and land of wrapping paper, it’s time we look back on the month that was.

Book of the Month

E: I honestly didn’t read anything worthwhile this month. I’m kind of disappointed with myself.

N: I reread Colin and Pen’s love story in the Bridgerton series. Roll on series three so I can see those two fall in love.

Movies & TV

TV Show Picks

E: Wednesday – for me this is definitely a must watch. It’s so well directed and just insanely well done.

N: Agreeing with Emma, Wednesday stole the show this month!

Good Movie Recommendation:

E: Batman: Under the Red Hood because who doesn’t love Jason Todd.

N:  I was watching all of the cheese this month. Looking forward to seeing Matalida the musical and Wakana Forever so hoping one of those take top spot in December

Cheesy Bad Movie Recommendation:

E: Falling For Christmas – as cheesy as you can get when it comes to movies around this time of year.

N: Disenchanted – I was highly disappointed but, it can be put down as a cheesy bad movie. Turning into an evil character was a nice touch.

Gaming Picks

E: Gotham Knights – I spent a lot of time playing as my favourite knight and I love the backstory that we got throughout the game.

N:  Gotham Knights – I wish I had spent more time with this game but, it is phenomenal. I’m slowly working through it!

Music

Single of the Month

E: One Night Left – Cheat Codes & MacKenzie Porter

N:  ‘Must Mean It’s Christmas’ Chasing Abbey

Album/EP of the Month

E: Sonder – Dermot Kennedy

N:   Sonder – Dermot Kennedy. When Emma’s bae drops a new album you know we both adore it when we both choose it!

Favourite Things

Favourite Thing About November?

E: How a lot of what I had planned didn’t really pan out how I planned it. A universal slow down sign. A reminder that things will work out if and when they’re meant to.

N: It ending? It’s been a challenging month but we got through it. Here’s to December being unforgettable and truly magical.

Favourite Item of the Month

E: My notebook and pens that I’ve been carrying around with me a lot lately have been so helpful when it comes to planning out ideas or just noting incomplete ideas so nothing gets lost in my brain.

N: My favourite winter scarf. I’ve had it since I was 15 and it is still doing its job.

Event of the Month

E: Seeing Sigrid in the 3 Arena. She was unbelievable!

N:  Matching up with Emma again, Sigrid in the 3 Arena. By gosh was she amazing and the company was top notch!

Moment of the Month

E: Being reunited with my favourite wall ❤ a real OG who’s always had my back.

N:  Letting the next generation of fans take my spot in the front row at Sigrid. Seeing those young teenagers scream the words and watch three of my best friends bopping along in sync was a moment I won’t forget.

Quote of the Month

E: “We have to remember these days. There’s no guarantee that they will last forever. Enjoy them as long as they last. I love you guys!” – Sebastian Vettel #ThereIsStillARaceToWin

N:  “We all have our time machines. Some take us back, they’re called memories. Some take us forward, they’re called dreams.” Jeremy Irons

Three things you are most excited about for December

E: Christmas is obviously a big thing to look forward to in December but I’m also looking forward to chilling with my family and hanging out with Niamh in my hometown for New Years as well!

N: Christmas it THEE holiday in our household. I cannot wait to be surrounded by family. Taking some much needed holidays and doing some fun Christmassy activities and lastly…  New Year’s with Em in T-more.
