My Year in Music – May 2022
We have old and new songs and songs in between for you from May. It’s been a strange kind of month but we’ve come out the other side and into the month long celebration that is Pride 2022! So to all the LGBTQIA+ members among our readers, I hope you have a fabulous Pride month and enjoy celebrating the very essence of who you were born to be. We are all told to be ourselves so it would be hypocritical to say that specific people can’t be themselves simply because it does not align with what you believe. We all view the world differently but we can have our beliefs and opinions without infringing upon others rights and lives. Tolerance, kindness and basic human decency can and will make a difference. Be kind, caring, tolerant and, above all else, loving this Pride month; the world struggled for two years with the pandemic and the last thing we need is to cause another pandemic fuelled by intolerance and hatred. In the end, Love Will Win.
