My Year in Music – September 2021

Do you remember September? It passed by so fast I completely understand if you don’t. Schools are back in session and so are colleges and it seems like life has returned to some semblance of normal around here. The most abnormal normal thing though? Gigs. We’re still seated in pods in Ireland for another while and it is simultaneously the weirdest and most normal thing I’ve done. But, hey, we’re back at gigs and that’s what really matters. September is holiday time for me and, honestly, this year, even though certain things didn’t go exactly to plan, the time that I’ve managed to spend with friends was the most welcome thing in the world. But this is the new normal and we’ll get used to it as time goes by. Also all prayers and positive vibes you want to send our way are welcome because soon (not exactly sure when) Niamh and I will be trying for tickets to a Grand Prix next year *cue panicked and excited screaming* because, you know, travelling is a thing now.
